About the Opportunity

Long Term Futures Ltd is seeking a dedicated and flexible Nursery Nurse to join its team at a primary school in Kingston Upon Thames.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality care and education to children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), creating a nurturing and stimulating environment.
  • Work closely with children who have Special Educational Needs (SEN), tailoring support to meet their individual needs.
  • Assist in planning and delivering activities that support children's development across all areas of the EYFS curriculum.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment, adhering to safeguarding and health and safety policies.
  • Collaborate with the wider EYFS team to deliver a consistent and high-quality learning experience.
  • Adapt to shift patterns, ensuring availability for early and late shifts.
Requirements:
  • A Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Experience working in an EYFS setting, ideally within a school or nursery, is essential.
  • Confidence and skills to support children with SEN, adapting to their individual needs, are required.
  • A flexible and proactive attitude to meet the demands of shift patterns is necessary.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team, are expected.
Compensation Package:
  • The successful candidate will receive a competitive pay rate of £95 per day.
  • Support with transport costs will be provided to facilitate easier commutes.
  • Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities will be available for career development.
  • Flexible long-term placements with supportive schools will be offered.
  • Dedicated consultant guidance throughout the placement will be provided.
