Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join our forward-thinking HR Operations Team at Babcock International. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the future of our company.

About the Role

The Senior HR Business Partner will be responsible for driving our HR agenda and People Plan, collaborating across HR Operations, SME HR teams, and the wider leadership team. Key responsibilities include:
  • Supporting ongoing HR operations and transformation activities.
  • Leading employee relations and trade union engagement to ensure smooth transitions during workforce and site changes.
  • Driving strategic workforce planning and resourcing strategies to support infrastructure transformation.
  • Overseeing consultations on workplace location changes, ensuring seamless project governance, and working closely with health and safety, communications, and HR teams.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A proven track record of engaging stakeholders in transformation within industrial and unionised environments.
  • Ability to navigate complex HR challenges with a hands-on approach.
  • Expertise in Employee Relations.

What We Offer

In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary of £65,000 per annum, plus benefits including a generous holiday allowance, matched contribution pension scheme, and access to a Digital GP. This role is full-time, 37 hours per week, with hybrid working arrangements.
