Main Responsibilities:
  • To deliver and manage the Early Years services in a variety of settings, ensuring a safe, secure, and healthy environment.
  • To provide care that meets individual children's needs, prioritizing their overall safety and well-being.
  • To plan and implement daily routines that cater to diverse needs, using play-based learning opportunities.
  • To lead and motivate a team of staff, promoting a positive work culture and encouraging collaboration.
  • To supervise staff members, facilitate regular team meetings, and conduct performance appraisals as needed.
  • To support students and volunteers placed in designated settings, providing guidance and mentorship.
  • To ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • To establish strong partnerships with parents and caregivers, creating a welcoming environment that supports their role in their child's life.
  • To actively participate in training and development opportunities, enhancing knowledge and skills to deliver exceptional services.

Requirements:
  • A degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Proven experience in managing Early Years services, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, 30 hours per week, offering a competitive salary of £13.87 per hour.
