Job Title: Lab Scientist

SRG is seeking a highly skilled Lab Scientist to join our team in Cambridge, UK.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented individual to support the manufacture and QC of specialist reagents in our flourishing biotech organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of reagents, lyophilisation and quality control of small-medium scale batches.
  • Handling receipt of reagents and chemicals, including aliquoting, storage and uploading onto the QMS as necessary.
  • Collaboration with CMO's and in-house specialists to support production scaling activities.
  • Development and implementation of QC and validation protocols, ensuring regulatory processes are followed meticulously.
  • Monitoring QC pass and fails, taking corrective action and maintaining accurate records.
  • Adherence to SOP's and company policy.
Requirements:
  • Background in an IVD development setting, working to ISO 13485 standards in a production or QC team.
  • Proven industry/commercial lab experience, ideally in a device development setting.
  • Good proficiency with RT-PCR and other classic molecular skills such as reagent and/or chemical handling.
