Research Scientist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our team at the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute. As a Research Scientist, you will contribute to cutting-edge translational research designed to unravel the complex multicellular ecosystems that drive breast cancer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct computational analysis of highly multiplexed tissue imaging data to understand tumour ecosystems.
  • Develop and apply sophisticated image processing techniques to characterise human breast tumour ecosystems.
  • Collaborate with our team to assemble tissue imaging datasets of unprecedented depth and size in both observational studies and clinical trials.

Requirements:

  • PhD in a relevant field, such as computational biology or immunology.
  • Experience in computational analysis of high-dimensional data.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or R.
