Cambridge Environmental Research Consultants Ltd is seeking an air quality scientist to contribute to our research team. The successful candidate will be responsible for manipulating datasets associated with air quality models, including ADMS, and developing skills in quantifying model performance and identifying sources of error and uncertainty.
The role will involve report writing, participating in meetings with project partners, and presenting findings at scientific meetings. A strong background in physical science, such as maths, physics, chemistry, or atmospheric science, is required, as well as the ability to analyse and interpret data.
CERC provides formal training and encourages professional membership with the Institute of Air Quality Management or Institution of Environmental Sciences. The ideal candidate will have experience with programming languages such as Python, R, Fortran, or MATLAB.
