Band 7 Senior Occupational Therapist Team Lead Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to take on a Team Lead role within our team. This is a Band 7 position at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will have a strong ability to lead and manage a team, a passion for delivering high-quality patient care, and a strong understanding of current legislation and its application to occupational therapy.

The role involves managing a varied caseload, providing supervision and guidance to junior therapists, and developing the skills of the therapy team. The ideal candidate will have a BSc in OT, HCPC registration, evidence of CPD, leadership training, and experience in supervising junior therapists.

  • Work closely with clinical colleagues to deliver excellent patient care
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives

We offer a competitive salary, estimated to be around £82,000 - £92,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, you can expect a range of benefits, including flexible working options, professional development opportunities, and a supportive environment.
