About the Role:

MMP Consultancy is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Deputy Director of Estates and Facilities to lead the strategic development and implementation of the Trust's estate strategy.

This is a senior role that requires the ability to manage and oversee all aspects of estates management, facilities management, and commercial services, ensuring statutory compliance, governance, and risk management for the built environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of the Trust's estate strategy, aligning with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
  • Manage capital projects, including redevelopment and major infrastructure planning, to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Oversee the management of estates, facilities, and commercial services, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, maintaining a strong risk management culture.
  • Manage substantial budgets and drive cost improvement programs, promoting financial prudence and sustainability.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant discipline, such as architecture, engineering, or business administration, with a post-graduate qualification preferred.
  • Chartered professional registration or accreditation, such as RIBA, CIOB, RICS, or CIBSE.
  • Significant senior management experience in estates and facilities within a large organization, with a proven track record of managing major change, financial control, and strategic planning.
