About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Neonatal Safety Improvement Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work with us in improving the safety and quality of maternal and neonatal care in Wales.

Key Responsibilities

  • To support the Maternity and Neonatal Safety Support Programme (MatNeoSSP Wales) in delivering quality improvement initiatives and projects.
  • To work closely with local managers and team colleagues to identify and address service gaps and areas for improvement.
  • To collaborate with multi-professional groups and stakeholders to develop and implement solutions that improve patient safety and experience.
  • To gather, analyse and present complex data to inform decision-making and drive improvements.

Requirements

  • Experience in a management role with a focus on quality improvement and patient safety.
  • Strong collaboration and partnership working skills with multi-professional groups and stakeholders.
  • Ability to motivate others to encourage collaborative working and to gather, analyse and present complex data.
  • Commitment to self-development and actively seeking feedback and learning.
