About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Neonatal Staff Nurse to join our team at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit within the Children's Hospital for Wales. The successful candidate will have significant experience in Neonatal Nursing and be able to work in a variety of roles within the unit.

Main Responsibilities

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is a 32 cot unit offering both medical and surgical care to a wide range of infants from all over South Wales. The post holder will work closely with the Team Leader/Ward Sister/Charge Nurse and multidisciplinary team members in monitoring and maintaining excellent clinical standards of nursing practice and staff development.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a current First Level Registration (Child Branch)/RSCN/RGN and be qualified in Speciality(Neonatal HD and ITU Certificate and NLS). They will also have significant experience in Neonatal Nursing, evidence of expertise in Shift management, and experience in change management and managing Clinical Risk.
