Job Summary:


This role provides an exciting opportunity to join the Health and Safety team as a Fire Safety Advisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical advice on a range of fire-related issues and projects, and will advise and support the Senior Fire Safety Advisor in delivering the UHB service strategy for Fire.


Main Duties of the Job:


The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with the Clinical Service Boards and Capital Estates and Facility teams, ensuring that they remain fully supported by your Fire Safety expertise. You will be required to correctly advise on all aspects of fire-related risks and ensure that adequate management processes are in place for effective fire safety precautions.


You will undertake fire safety risk assessments for your areas of responsibility and provide regular reports/submissions to senior management on fire-related issues.


You will be based at one of the main hospital sites within Cardiff and Vale University Health Board.
