Community Adult Psychiatry Specialty Doctor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Adult Psychiatry Specialty Doctor to join our team at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust. This is a new, fixed-term contract post for 12 months, full-time position.
Key Responsibilities- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing care to individuals between the ages of 14 and 65 years with mental health needs, across Redbridge.
- Provide senior medical support to the team and direct input on clinical cases.
- Provide guidance and supervision to the team.
- Work directly with individuals aged 14 to 65 years, and their families, and liaise as appropriate with other external adult mental health providers and acute hospitals.
- Develop links with local acute trusts A&E departments and inpatient wards.
- Be responsible for patients allocated to them and will assess, manage, plan, and deliver care.
- Support peers and the team manager and be an effective team member while working on their own initiative.
- Supervise junior colleagues and liaise with other health and social professionals and agencies.
- Full GMC Registration with a license to practice.
- Section 12 certification, or a commitment to work towards this.
- Mastery in the management of a broad range of mental disorders in people aged 14 to 65 years.
- At least 4 years of full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a part-time basis) of which at least 2 years will be in a specialty training programme in a relevant specialty or as a fixed term specialty trainee or shall have equivalent experience and competencies.
