Role Overview

At Sja's West, we are seeking a dedicated individual to support the development of young people in our community. As a Community Helper, you will work alongside experienced Youth Leaders to deliver engaging programs for our Cadet and Badger groups. This volunteer position involves supporting the development of young people, promoting their growth, and fostering a sense of community.

About the Position

We are looking for motivated individuals who are passionate about making a difference in their community. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn new skills, gain experience, and contribute to the well-being of your community. Your responsibilities will include supporting Youth Leaders in delivering programs and activities for Cadet and Badger groups, helping develop the confidence, teamwork skills, and self-discipline of young people, and supervising and supporting other adult volunteers in the team.

Pursuing the Role

If you are successful, you will need to complete an induction and training program to ensure you have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this role. We estimate that the salary for this position will be £22,000 - £25,000 per annum, based on national averages.
