Volunteer Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Volunteer Coordinator to join our team at Sja's West. As a Volunteer Coordinator, you will play a vital role in recruiting, training and supporting our volunteers.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with volunteers, staff and community groups. You will be responsible for promoting our volunteer opportunities, managing volunteer records and ensuring that all volunteers receive the necessary training and support.
Main Responsibilities:
- Promote volunteer opportunities to the public and encourage applications
- Manage volunteer records and ensure that all volunteers receive the necessary training and support
- Coordinate volunteer events and activities
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of volunteer programs and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements:
- Degree in a relevant field such as human resources, business administration or marketing
- Proven experience working with volunteers and community groups
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Salary: £22,000 - £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Location: Acocks Green All Services Unit
