About Us:

The Association of Dogs and Cats Homes is a leading representative charity for dog and cat rescue and rehoming organisations across the UK, Ireland, Isle of Man, and the Channel Islands.

We promote the safeguarding of welfare standards for dogs and cats needing new homes and support those working and volunteering in the sector.

As our Volunteer Manager, you will oversee all aspects of volunteer management, including recruitment, training, development of new volunteer projects, and ongoing support.

You will be part of a small team, handling various tasks and supporting organisational events and projects. This role requires adaptability, resourcefulness, and a willingness to make a meaningful impact.

This position is made possible thanks to support from Pets Foundation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, train, and develop volunteers
  • Oversight of volunteer projects
  • SUPPORT FOR VARIOUS TASKS AND EVENTS

What We Offer:

A competitive salary of £31,000 per annum, 35 hours of work per week, and the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of animals in need.
