Salary: £52,500.00 GBP Annual (Prorated)
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Hand Therapist to join our team at Chichester Hospital. As a Hand Therapist, you will be responsible for managing a complex clinical caseload of hand therapy patients referred from Consultants, GP's, PMI's or self referrals, as well as post-operative patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, effective clinical care to patients with hand injuries or conditions.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with orthopaedic hand surgeons to provide seamless care to patients.
- Participate in regular supervision sessions to ensure high standards of care.
Requirements:
- BSc in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.
- Minimum of 5 years experience working in hand therapy, with experience of leading a service desirable.
- Excellent hand therapy and splinting skills.
- Confident communication skills to engage effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Competent and confident IT user with strong organisation skills.
