Job Title: Band 4 Registered Nurse Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Registered Nurse Associate to join our team at Beech Ward, Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered care to patients with complex needs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide safe and effective care to patients in a range of care settings under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
  • Support the Registered Nurse in ongoing assessment, treatment, and care planning for patients.
  • Promote health and prevent ill health in patients and service users.
  • Monitor the condition and health needs of patients in partnership with colleagues, families, and carers.
Requirements:
  • NMC registration.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal English Language.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team player under appropriate supervision.
  • Understanding of the scope of the role of the Nursing Associate in the context of the team and the organisation.
Working Arrangements:

This post involves rotation between day and night duties, including early, long days, and night shifts covering weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays.

We encourage our Nurse Associates to train in skills such as venepuncture, male and female catheterisation, ECG recording, 24-hour tape cardiac monitoring, and complete stroke-specific competencies.

Person Specification:
  • Ability to work a variety of shift patterns.
  • Must hold a full and valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
