We are pleased to announce an opportunity for a Nursing Associate Practitioner to become a vital member of our esteemed nursing team at Spire Healthcare. This position involves a dynamic schedule that includes a mix of long shifts and night duties throughout the week.

Shift Patterns: Day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30 / Night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30

As a Nursing Associate Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between healthcare assistants and registered nurses, delivering compassionate, person-centered care as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team across various clinical responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional planned care for patients and assist in the management and organization of care delivery in diverse hospital environments.
  • Support individuals with all aspects of their care, focusing on daily living, person-centered care, and promoting health and independence.
  • Implement care plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and anticipated discharge dates.
  • Enhance patient safety by conducting clinical risk assessments and utilizing the clinical incident reporting system.
  • Ensure the privacy, dignity, and safety of all individuals are consistently upheld.
  • Demonstrate the ability to identify changing priorities and seek guidance from Registered Nurses or other qualified health professionals as necessary.
  • Perform all nursing procedures in line with hospital policies, ensuring compliance and understanding among all staff under your management.

Who We Are Looking For:

  • Registered Nursing Associate listed on the NMC register.
  • Nursing Associate foundation degree qualification.
  • Recent experience in a similar role or transferable skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize your workload effectively.
  • Capability to manage the unpredictable nature of workload and patient interactions.
  • Effective communication skills (written, verbal, and non-verbal) with patients, relatives, and all members of the multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to foster positive relationships with patients, their families, caregivers, and colleagues.
  • Professional communication skills with individuals at all levels of understanding, whether face-to-face, via telephone, email, or written correspondence.
  • Awareness of personal strengths and development needs, with a willingness to seek guidance when necessary.
