Behaviour Mentor Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Behaviour Mentor to join our team at a specialist school in Woking. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

The students we support range from 10 to 16 years old and face various social, emotional and mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety, OCD, and behavioural issues. Your primary responsibility will be to provide a consistent and supportive presence, building strong relationships with the students and being a positive role model.

To excel in this role, you must be open-minded, resilient, and knowledgeable about mental health. Experience working with SEN children and/or adults is highly desirable. Graduates in Psychology, Criminology, or Counselling would be well-suited for this position.

Job Requirements
  • Hold a relevant degree in a field such as Psychology, Criminology, or Counselling
  • Have experience working with SEN children and/or adults
  • Be able to commit to term-time only, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4pm
  • Have the right to work in the UK

Working Conditions

You will receive excellent on-site training, support, and CPD to ensure safeguarding of all students. This includes a competitive daily rate of £80-£100, depending on experience. The school is located in the beautiful Surrey Hills, offering easy access to public transportation and on-site parking.
