About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing tailored support to students in need, collaborating closely with our experienced teaching team to ensure effective implementation of behaviour management strategies and techniques. A safe and supportive atmosphere will be fostered, encouraging emotional well-being and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with teachers, counsellors, and therapists to facilitate holistic development for students
  • Implement the school's behaviour management strategies and techniques to create a structured and positive classroom environment
  • Foster a calm and organized classroom setting
  • Provide one-on-one and group support during lessons, activities, and interventions

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working with young people facing mental health challenges and challenging behaviours, ideally in a school or therapeutic setting
  • An interest in or studies related to psychology, counselling, or therapy
  • Empathy, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting individuals in improving their mental well-being
  • Strong communication and de-escalation skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the diverse emotional and behavioural needs of students
