Job Summary:

The Royal Automobile Club is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Night Porter to join our team at our stunning London clubhouse. As a Night Porter, you will be the first point of contact for our members and guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Work closely with the clubhouse team to maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to high standards of quality and attention to detail.
  • Assist with the smooth operation of the clubhouse, including the management of keys, access control, and other administrative tasks.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the local area, including restaurants, bars, and other attractions, to provide recommendations to members and guests.
  • Collaborate with the events team to ensure seamless execution of events and functions, including setup, coordination, and breakdown.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar luxury establishment, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
  • Valid driving license and ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to think critically, with a focus on finding solutions and improving processes.
