Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to a team of clinicians
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Collaborate with leadership to oversee the delivery of patient care and ensure that clinical standards are consistently met
- Manage a dynamic team of staff and coordinate the clinics activities to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
- Provide support and guidance to other clinicians, helping them navigate complex cases and grow professionally

Requirements
- Relevant professional qualification - Health Professions Council registered, Occupational Therapist with Dip RCOT qualification or degree
- Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD) portfolio
- Post basic qualification in community care / research
- Qualification in management and leadership within a healthcare setting
- Hold a psycho-social intervention qualification or equivalent
Experience
- Good knowledge of community services both generic and mental health
- Experience of supervising and managing staff
- Experience of providing leadership
- Experience of multidisciplinary working. Formal and informal teaching including supervising students.
- Providing clinical and / or managerial supervision
- Experience and knowledge of clinical audit
- Experience of authorising payments /expenses and handling petty cash
Training
- Active interest in service user experience and responding attentively and constructively to this
- To read, understand and work within relevant Trust policies and procedures
- Able to travel to undertake work and have the capacity to carry equipment relative to your post
- Able to comply with manual handling policies and guidelines
- Able to comply with the PMVA requirements of this post which are breakaway and de-scalation skills
