Account Manager Opportunity in Wholesale Industry

This role is with a long-established wholesale leader that has partnered exclusively with VANRATH to find the ideal candidate. As an Account Manager (Field Based), you will be responsible for managing key accounts, growing relationships, and maximising account spend. The company offers a competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000, plus a fantastic benefits package, company car, and bonus opportunities.

Job Description:

  • Manage key accounts on the field, growing relationships and update account status and transaction details.
  • Supervise account reps to ensure sales pipeline resolution and resolve any potential issues arising.
  • Maximise account spend and generate new business from existing accounts or customer networking.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years' experience within an account manager/customer success role, with a successful track record in upselling and KPI target delivery.
  • Field sales experience and proven experience of nurturing existing customer accounts while achieving and exceeding sales, revenue, and profitability targets.
  • A full UK driving licence and technical sales background (electrical, engineering, construction etc.)
