Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Recruitment Coordinator to join our team. As a key player in our recruitment process, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our new approach to recruitment. Your responsibilities will include providing a recruitment service for all volume and cohort recruitment, delivering end-to-end recruitment administration, and providing recruitment specialist advice to hiring managers.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver a recruitment service for all post and apply and volume/cohort vacancies
  • Deliver end-to-end recruitment administration for allocated vacancies using our Applicant Tracking System (eRecruitment) and Electronic Staff Record (ESR) system
  • Provide recruitment specialist advice to hiring managers, using eRecruitment to meet customer needs and achieve successful outcomes
  • Engage with candidates to ensure the best possible recruitment experience as their first contact with NHSBTLiaise with the Recruiter for Brand and Attraction to ensure the appropriate promotion of vacancies
  • Undertake occasional travel to NHSBT sites to meet the requirements of the post (notice will be given)

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:

  • NVQ level 4 in Customer Service, Administration, or Business, or equivalent experience
  • European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) or ITQ2, or CLAIT II, or OCR (RSA) level 3 in text/word processing, or demonstrable workplace experience
  • Demonstrates commitment to own continuous learning and development
  • Experience in providing good customer care
  • Experience of working in a busy office environment, using office equipment, handling conflicting deadlines and priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Knowledge and understanding of the need for confidentiality
  • Broad awareness and interest in current digital technology and social media
