Transforming the South Asia collection at Powis Castle is a highly ambitious project. As a Senior Community Engagement Manager, you will be part of this exciting journey, working closely with diverse stakeholders to explore the context and meaning of these objects.

We aim to build deeper connections with new audiences and communities across Wales, nationally and internationally. To achieve this, you will evaluate the impact of our activity and use the learning to inform a larger project.

This project is at an early stage in its planning process, making it a crucial time for engagement with people from the South Asian community. Your role will involve forging links with this community and ensuring that their voices are represented throughout the project.

  • You will have experience in designing and leading participation events, as well as coaching others in these skills.
  • A champion for inclusion, you will always think everyone welcome.
  • You will have connections with the South Asian community and be confident in forging links with them.

The salary for this position is £40,000-£55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
