Key Responsibilities- Assist the Ward Manager with the day-to-day management of the clinical areas, including assessment of care needs, development, implementation, and evaluation of programmes of care, and setting of standards.
- Take responsibility for the management of the ward in the absence of the Ward Manager.
- Facilitate innovative and evidence-based nursing/midwifery practice through professional leadership and supporting the clinical team.
- Liaise with all members of the multidisciplinary team and facilitate a collaborative approach to patient care.

Person Specification- Level 1 Registered Nurse.
- Diploma in Nursing or evidence of recent relevant CPD at diploma level.
- Evidence of experience in the relevant speciality.
- Training/experience as Clinical Supervisor.
- 2 years Post Registration experience in relevant speciality.
- Able to evidence leadership experience.
