Total Care Matters Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children and young people in our care.



About the Role

As a Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing care and support to children and young people in a residential setting. You will work closely with your team to create a safe and supportive environment where children can develop essential life skills and achieve their goals.



Key Responsibilities


  • Supervise and support the young people in our care, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Safeguard the young people in our care, identifying and reporting any concerns or incidents.
  • Promote the education and independence of our young people, helping them to achieve their full potential.
  • Undertake relevant training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Accurately record incidents and maintain accurate records.
  • Support your team, working collaboratively to provide high-quality care and support.

Requirements


  • Full UK driving licence
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Experience supporting children (desirable but not essential)
  • Passion for working with children
  • Ability to undertake enhanced DBS check
