Job Title: Children's Residential Support Worker

Location: Long Bennington, NG23

Salary: £30,795– £32,795p.a (INCLUSIVE of sleep-in allowance and complex care allowance)

Contract: Full-time, permanent

We are seeking a dynamic and caring individual to join our team as a Residential Support Worker. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to children and young people in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support the young people in our care.
  • Safeguard the well-being and safety of the young people.
  • Promote the education and personal development of our young people.
  • Encourage and support the independence of our young people.
  • Participate in relevant training and development opportunities.
  • Accurately record incidents and maintain accurate records.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide a safe and nurturing environment.

  • Enrolment on L3 or L4 Diploma in Children & Young People and the future opportunity to enrol on L5 Diploma for Leadership & Management.

To be considered for this role, you must hold a Full UK Driving Licence and be eligible to work in the UK. Ideally, you will have experience supporting children, but if not, you must have a passion for working with children. Holding an L3 or equivalent in Children & Young People would be desirable but not essential – we are happy to support you through your L3, L4, or L5 qualification.
