
Continuous Improvement Director

As a Continuous Improvement Director, you will play a crucial role in driving our business forward by improving equipment reliability and implementing engineering best practices. This is a challenging but rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will have experience in leading an engineering team, preferably in the FMCG environment, with a proven track record of improving overall site performance. You will also possess strong knowledge of continuous improvement tools and techniques, as well as good working knowledge of PdM techniques and planning/scheduling processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain Health and Safety as a top priority and ensure safe working practices.
- Coach and develop reliability technicians and planners to drive departmental improvement.
- Set and measure objectives for direct reports to ensure KPI delivery.
- Schedule maintenance and inspections to ensure compliance with PPM standards.
Requirements:
- Experience in leading an engineering team in the FMCG environment.
- Strong knowledge of continuous improvement tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate teams.
- Good working knowledge of PdM techniques and planning/scheduling processes.
- Competency in using a CMMS system.
Estimated Salary: £68,000 - £78,000 per annum, depending on experience.
