**About the Job

Protocol Education Ltd is seeking an exceptional Support Worker to join our team in Newport. As a Youth Mentor, you will work with young individuals with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing tailored support to help individuals overcome barriers to learning and development. You will foster a supportive, inclusive, and safe environment that promotes well-being and confidence.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with SEND or SEMH students, either in a mentoring or youth work setting. You will possess strong communication, active listening, and mentoring skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with young people.

We offer a competitive salary of £84-£95 per day, along with opportunities for personal and professional growth in a supportive, collaborative team environment.

  • Ability to motivate and inspire young people to reach their full potential
  • Strong communication, active listening, and mentoring skills
