About SCR
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Support Worker to lead a team of experienced professionals in providing exceptional care to young people with emotional and behavioural disabilities. With a strong focus on empowerment, our senior support worker will help service users make informed choices and decisions that shape their lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to the team and ensure seamless delivery of high-quality care services.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement personalized care plans that cater to each service user's unique needs.
- Foster positive relationships with service users, families, and stakeholders to promote effective communication and collaboration.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to maintain excellence in care provision.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent experience
- Proven track record of working with young people who have Autism, Learning Difficulties, and Complex Needs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances
