About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at ProfDoc, specializing in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) with a focus on Eating Disorders. Main Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist psychological assessment, therapy, and intervention to young people who are struggling with eating disorders, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, drawing on a range of theoretical models and interventions (e.g., CBT-E, Family-Based Therapy).
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans that prioritize the needs of each individual, ensuring that all interventions are grounded in evidence and respectful of individual differences.
  • Provide consultation, training, and supervision to junior staff and multidisciplinary colleagues, promoting best practice and continuous improvement.
  • Engage in regular clinical supervision and continued professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest research and methodologies.
About You
  • A Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent) and HCPC registration are essential qualifications for this role.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents, particularly in CAMHS settings, is highly valued, as is a proven track record of delivering effective therapeutic interventions.

The estimated salary for this position is £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We welcome applications from experienced Clinical Psychologists who share our commitment to excellence and innovation.
