Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at ProfDoc, specializing in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) with a focus on Eating Disorders.

About the Role:

You will provide specialist psychological assessment, therapy, and intervention to young people who are struggling with eating disorders. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to care plans, offering psychological expertise, and ensuring that evidence-based approaches are followed to promote recovery and enhance the quality of life for the individuals under your care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for children and adolescents with eating disorders.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions (e.g., CBT-E, Family-Based Therapy) to young people and their families.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to the development and implementation of care plans.
  • Provide consultation, training, and supervision to junior staff and multidisciplinary colleagues.
  • Engage in regular clinical supervision and continued professional development.
  • Ensure that care is delivered in line with best practice guidelines, maintaining the highest standards of care and ethical practice.
