Business Development Director for Regional Growth

Are you passionate about driving business growth in a rapidly evolving company?

We are looking for a skilled Business Development Director to lead our regional growth strategy and enable the success of our Partners, Directors, and staff.

The purpose of this role is to own and drive the growth targets for the region, ensuring the successful implementation of business development activities. You will work closely with the UK Head of Sales and Growth, Regional Managing Directors, and Local office Partners to develop and execute sales strategies that meet regional growth targets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Owning the growth target for the region and taking responsibility for enabling and driving business development activity
  • Working with RMDs, RMPs, and Local office Partners to ensure a robust program of activity for cross-sales and new logo wins
  • Developing specific sales strategies and plans for regions, offices, and Partners to close the sales gap and achieve revenue growth targets
  • Providing analysis and reporting on all aspects of sales performance, utilizing the sales excellence team
  • Liaising with the Central Sales Excellence team to ensure the regions' sales pipeline is up-to-date and of the highest data quality
  • Organizing and managing regular Growth meetings across the region to facilitate understanding of growth plans and provide accountability
  • Collaborating with marketing to create and deploy regional marketing plans designed to drive growth within the regions
  • Rolled out key account management programs (Q3 FY24), identifying clients with key cross-selling opportunities and managing client sales processes
  • Helping identify and research suitable new client prospects and putting in place new client contact plans
  • Providing ongoing sales support and coaching as required across the region to ensure relevant staff have the necessary skills
