Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced sales professional to lead our industrial sector sales team. As the Director of Industrial Sales Development, you will be responsible for driving business growth and revenue through strategic planning and execution.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management, with experience in managing distributor arrangements and selling to UK DNOs, contractors, and consultants in the electrical sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a sector business strategy that drives high levels of profitable sales and positions Lucy Electric as the preferred switchgear and automation supplier within the industrial sector.
  • Manage and lead the Industrial Sector Sales Team, providing input to annual sales budgets and working to achieve targets.
  • Research and identify potential new areas for business development and growth in relation to new and existing products and services.
  • Prepare tenders and quotations, working with product specialists and tendering resources at the Thame Office.
Requirements
  • Proven sales management experience, with a strong understanding of contract law and terms and conditions.
  • Ability to negotiate contracts and close orders leading to profitable business for Lucy Electric.
  • Detailed knowledge of both low voltage and medium voltage switchgear products and automation systems.
  • Strong people management skills, including recruitment, mentoring, coaching, and appraisals.

Salary:£80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
