Specialist SEMH Teacher
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Teacher to join our alternative provision in High Wycombe. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching KS3 and KS4 students with various subjects and further studies.
The provision supports pupils with ADHD and ASD and SEMH needs, providing a bespoke learning approach for each student. The school focuses on developing better coping strategies and understanding of emotions through a multi-agency approach and tailored therapy.
About the School:
Our small provision caters for young people aged 11-14 who have experienced a negative impact on their education experience. We aim to re-engage students in their education and build on their confidence and self-esteem.
The school has a capacity of 32 students at one time, with 12 students currently on roll. This allows for a tailored approach to learning, with students working in small groups and classrooms that are smaller than those in mainstream settings.
