Sales and Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales and Business Development Manager to join our team at Dawsongroup vans. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with a diverse range of customers, including some of the most recognized brands. Your primary focus will be on identifying new business opportunities, referrals, and prospecting activities, as well as account management, achieving growth, and customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible for face-to-face meetings with potential customers who do not yet use Dawsongroup vans, maintaining a high level of van utilisation, and identifying and developing potential markets that relate to the area. In addition, you will be expected to achieve sales revenue targets as set.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have an outgoing personality and drive, in a high-energy/fast-paced environment. You will also need to be commercially aware, with the ability to spot sales opportunities, highly organised, and able to easily adapt to change. You will need to have the ability to think on your feet in a conversation, ask and answer questions with ease, and have a "never stop learning" mentality. You will also need to have excellent planning and organising skills, with the ability to manage your own time, excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop and maintain value-added customer relationships and deliver exceptional customer service. Furthermore, you will need to possess effective influencing and negotiating skills, a proven track record in sales and business development, and the ability to promote the Dawsongroup brand, ensuring clients are aware of all Dawsongroup businesses.
