We are seeking an experienced and compassionate SEN Teacher to join our team at Brick Lane School in East London. The ideal candidate will have a therapeutic approach to teaching and learning, with a passion for creating a positive and safe environment for pupils.

About the Role

This permanent position involves working closely with the Senior Leadership Team to develop a curriculum that meets the diverse needs of our pupils. As a SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for promoting positive relationships between peers, collaborating with colleagues to secure high standards of teaching and learning, and contributing to a lively and stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Creating personalized learning activities and experiences tailored to individual pupil needs and levels of achievement
  • Organizing and leading group sessions to support pupil development and socialization
  • Collaborating with Teaching Assistants to ensure effective implementation of educational plans

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with neurodiverse pupils and/or SEN students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
