Specialist Teacher Opportunity at Academics

We are seeking a qualified Specialist Teacher to join our team at a renowned SEN school in Thatcham, West Berkshire. As a Specialist Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality education and support to students with SEMH needs, Autism, ADHD, and other additional needs.

About the Role:
  • Teaching and supporting a class of 4-5 students
  • Planning, leading, and implementing a varied curriculum for neurodiverse children
  • Monitoring and recording student progress academically and against EHCPs
  • Maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment
  • Collaborating with Teaching Assistants to provide effective support to pupils
Requirements:
  • PQCE qualification or equivalent teaching experience
  • Passion for special educational needs and inclusive education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of £33,000 - £37,000 per annum, reflecting the importance of this role.
