SEMH Mental Health Assistant Required

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at Protocol Education Ltd. As a member of our team, you will be working with children who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in schools across Sunderland.
About the Job:This is an exciting opportunity for a caring and dedicated individual to work in a supportive local authority that prioritizes tailored support for each child. You will work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and local professionals to create a positive learning atmosphere.
Responsibilities:- Work with children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), complex learning disabilities, and Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Provide emotional support and guidance to help children develop coping strategies and manage challenging behaviors.
- Assist students in their personal and academic development, setting achievable goals and celebrating successes.
Salary Range: £18,500 - £20,000 per annum
