£83 - £100 daily, dependent on experience & qualifications

Job Description
This SEMH teaching assistant position involves working with students who require additional support due to social, emotional, and mental health challenges. As an SEMH teaching assistant, you will play a key role in helping students develop their emotional intelligence, manage their emotions, and build resilience. Your primary responsibilities will include providing one-to-one support, assisting teachers with lesson planning, and supervising activities such as sports sessions and projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, patience, and empathy. You should have a sound understanding of lesson content and the ability to support its delivery. Additionally, you must have a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and subscribe to the DBS Update Service. A degree in a related field or relevant experience is also essential.
