About the Role:

We are seeking a Homelessness Prevention Expert to join our team and contribute to providing excellent support services to our residents. This is a challenging but rewarding role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The Key Responsibilities:

  • To carry out statutory functions under homelessness legislation
  • To offer tailored housing advice and homelessness prevention options to customers
  • To work with customers to identify their needs and provide personalized support

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work, Law, or a related field
  • Working knowledge of homelessness legislation, landlord and tenant law, and choice-based lettings schemes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary and Benefits:

This is a full-time role, 37 hours per week, with a salary of £36,124 - £40,476 per annum (City Pay Band 5). We offer a range of benefits, including enhanced DBS check, family-friendly policies, agile and flexible working, generous annual leave allowance, and access to the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS).
