About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and efficient individual to join our team as an Early Years Sufficiency and Data Officer. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of high-quality early years services to schools and private, voluntary, and independent sector providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide and analyze data to support robust planning to meet the local authority's legal duty under Section 6 of the Childcare Act 2006 in relation to childcare sufficiency for children 0 – 14 years (19 years with a disability).
  • Assist the local authority to meet the requirements of the National Wraparound Childcare Programme.
  • Assist with the production and publishing of the Annual Childcare Sufficiency Assessment.
  • Undertake local sufficiency assessments to determine supply and demand of early years and childcare provision.
Requirements
  • Experience of extracting, analyzing, and presenting data.
  • Experience of working at a high level in a customer-focussed environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Confident IT skills in a range of software packages.
  • Sound knowledge of GDPR and Data Protection.
  • Ability to work unsupervised as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification or relevant experience.
