Job Summary:

Robertson Bell is seeking an experienced Licensing Officer to join our team as an Interim Licensing Officer for a 6-12 month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring venues and organizations are compliant with their licensing requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site visits for applications, renewals, and surprise inspections to ensure compliance with licensing regulations.
  • Write detailed reports for individual caseloads, highlighting any non-compliance issues.
  • Travel to various locations and venues to complete site visits, with the remainder of the contract based from home.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Licensing Officer within the local government sector.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to write clear and concise reports.
  • Immediate availability from early/mid-September.
  • Flexibility to work part-time hours, with the option to split hours over five days.
