We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Professional to join our team at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to patients.

The estimated salary for this role is £24,907 - £30,615 per annum, depending on experience. As a Senior Health Care Assistant, you will be responsible for implementing prescribed care, undertaking some higher-level clinical activities, and supporting professionally qualified staff.

The key duties of the role include:

  • Supporting patients with their elimination needs, including escorting them to and from the lavatory and caring for incontinent patients.
  • Assisting with feeding patients, serving meals, and maintaining cleanliness in examination rooms and clinic areas.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of patient information, reporting matters of concern to the nurse in charge, and attending ward reports and meetings as necessary.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have relevant qualifications, such as an NVQ 3 in Direct Care or equivalent, and experience working within a nursing team. You should also possess reliable and punctual skills, self-awareness regarding knowledge and competence, and ability to present a professional image.
