Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrator / Sales Team Support Administration Assistant to join our expanding sales team based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, East Anglia.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £25,000 - £28,000 per annum (DOE) + benefits package, including 25 days annual holiday + bank holidays and pension enrolment according to government guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate and timely quotations to customers for products and accessories.
  • Maintain strong customer relations through email campaigns and sales-related activities.
  • Regularly monitor the CRM system to identify current and past opportunities, promoting relevant products to customers.
  • Support customers with enquiries, rerouting them to the appropriate department / responsible person where necessary.
  • Help generate leads for both short- and long-term sales opportunities.
  • Engage with the existing customer base to gather reviews, case studies, citations, and referrals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the company's colleagues to maximise sales revenue and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Keep accurate customer contact records within the company CRM system.
  • Agree upon and adhere to key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive sales excellence.
Requirements
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive, quick learner, and organised.
  • Positive, can-do attitude; friendly, creative, and focused.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in the full Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to maintain accurate customer records.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy when completing tasks.
  • Previous experience in inside sales or administration.
  • Experience working for a medium-sized global company.
  • Genuine interest in pursuing a career in customer service and sales.
