Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Administrator to join our team at Hastings Direct. As a key member of our Group Legal department, you will provide administrative support to our colleagues and ensure the smooth operation of our Contract Management System.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Group Legal department and wider business, including report production, PowerPoint presentation preparation, meeting arrangement, and general administration tasks.
  • Maintain up-to-date information in the Contract Management System and associated filing and record-keeping to ensure a smooth, accurate, and efficient system.
  • Ensure prescribed processes and procedures for contract approval, review, and termination are undertaken, and identify any breaches or exceptions.
  • Prepare a variety of legal documents under the guidance of In-House lawyers, supporting both the legal team and wider business functions.
  • Analyze, understand, and interpret specific clauses within contracts for relevant information to be inputted to the Contract Management System.
Requirements
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Proficient knowledge of Adobe PDF formats and use of Adobe.
  • A diligent individual who can maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Great written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to operate flexibly and adapt to changing needs while remaining calm under pressure.
