Conveyancing Assistant

As a Conveyancing Assistant, you will play a crucial part in the conveyancing department, supporting the team with various tasks and responsibilities. Your role will involve audio dictation, file management, client interaction, document preparation, diary management, and administrative support. You will also be responsible for liaising with stakeholders, including clients, solicitors, and other parties involved in the conveyancing process.
Key Responsibilities
Audio Dictation: Accurately transcribe legal documents and correspondence.
File Management: Open, close, and organize client files.
Client Interaction: Handle calls and emails, respond to client inquiries, and provide case updates.
Document Preparation: Draft and review legal documents, forms, and correspondence.
Diary Management: Schedule appointments, meetings, and manage deadlines.
Administrative Support: Perform general office tasks, including photocopying, filing, and maintaining office supplies.
Liaising with Stakeholders: Communicate with clients, solicitors, and other parties involved in the conveyancing process.
Requirements
Experience: At least 1 year in a conveyancing role is preferred.
Skills: Proficiency in audio dictation, file management, and client communication. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
