About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team at Polaris Community. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people in our residential settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote the welfare and well-being of our young people, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with our young people, their families, and other professionals.
- Support the development of individual interests and skills, encouraging our young people to reach their full potential.
- Participate in activities and outings that promote a sense of belonging and community.
Requirements
- Experience of working with vulnerable young people, although not essential, is desirable.
- Commitment to the role, including some weekends and bank holidays.
- Ability to undertake sleep-in duties as part of a flexible rota.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
