We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to join our team as a Pathways to Employment Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a personalised pathway to employment for young people with neurodiverse conditions, and for enhancing their employability and supporting entry into employment.

The role involves providing intensive mentoring to a caseload of up to 15 young people, recruiting and undertaking initial assessments, and developing personalised pathways using personal development tools. The successful candidate will hold a recognised qualification to at least NVQ Level 3 in a subject related to Young People, and will have experience of working with young people, particularly those with neurodiverse conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To create a personalised pathway to employment for each young person, using a range of personal development tools and resources.
  • To provide intensive mentoring and support to young people, managing a caseload of up to 15 at any one time.
  • To recruit and undertake initial assessments, and to develop a range of resources and materials to support the programme.
  • To enhance young people's employability and support entry into employment including post-employment support.
  • To hold a recognised qualification to at least NVQ Level 3 in a subject related to Young People.

Requirements:

  • A recognised qualification to at least NVQ Level 3 in a subject related to Young People.
  • Experience of working with young people, particularly those with neurodiverse conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary: £25,571 - £28,957 per annum (MYA Grade 5 Pt 17-20), dependent on experience.
